Inactive usernames. (Please Rito)

Could you do what Xbox did and release older usernames. Its happened to me many times that I wanted to change my user to something else but the name was taken by another player with no games in the past 2 years or longer. Could you set a inactivity account timer and release the usernames after its been inactive for how ever long ? Since account name and username are different if the person was to log on after a few years let them pick another name or something.
