Tell Us How You Feel About Queue Changes

Evening everyone, this will be short.

So far it seems to me that the new changes to the queuing system are disliked by just about everyone. I am mainly referring to the removal of team builder and 5 player ranked teams, and the introduction of a dynamic and solo queue. Perhaps I have assumed incorrectly, but I would like a better gauge on how this community feels.

I would very much appreciate you all taking the poll below, and upvoting the post so the result is a more accurate representation of the LoL community.

I think this new queue is awesome. I know alot of people are dodging, and I experienced 30 minute queues every now and then, but the fact is the system keeps telling me someone keeps dodging because they forget to ban/pick when its there turn. So if that HAPPENS to be true, than its only a matter of time before people get use to it and appreciate it for what it is.

And by get use to it, I mean, actually conform to the new system and ban when they r suppose to, and pick when they r suppose to**

It seems like the que times are much shorter than team builder. Going for Jung, Support and top my que times have not been excessive but they do tend to be a little longer than the quickest ques from solo/dual. Not locking or banning quick enough did seem to slow things down at first while it was still new to folks.

I just hate that so many so many one champ only types will be going back into solo/dual.

There's no reason to not have both. Teambuilder was an effective way to practice with specific champions. That isn't reliable with any other game mode since team comp has to be adjusted by the people paired. I can't pick Shyvana if we have no CC. I can't pick Kindred or Lulu if we have no tanks. Etc. Teambuilder solved that problem. Great thing about computers? You can multitask while the elevator music is playing.

Bring back teambuilder.

My problem isn't so much team builders complete removal as it's the fact that it preaches the ability to go where you want, and yet be unable to. I can tolerate the removal of team builder if it didn't force break ups of duos in the game. Normally in draft before you can say 'hey we're a duo, can we take bot?' and most would accept it and agree (with a few others here and there but it's tolerable to a point) yet when my friend and I go into it now we never manage to stay together. I go support and she goes adc, but with the game forcing you to not be able to go support/adc twice if you're only two people, then you end up breaking up duos left and right. Team builder allowed duos to stay together in their lane, and sure i get it in ranked maybe you have multiple duos but with us, we just play casually, never ranked. I'd say either make it so duos can stick together in their lanes, or bring back team builder. Steps off Soapbox
