Reposting from ticket: Dear CertainlyT
I just posted this as a support ticket, the person responding agreed with my sentiments:
How did the akali rework get approved, I genuinely want to know. Her true stealth is by far the most uninteractive and unfun mechanic that has every been added into this game. I have been playing this game for more than 6 years now, and the game has had some changes that I have disagreed with on varying levels. There have been so many things added into this game that were annoying to play against, but still manageable, but akali's true invisibility takes everythint to a whole new level. What was even the point of reworking invisibility and camouflage if this was going to be implemented into this game. Every single mechanic in this game has some sort of counterplay to it so that you can manage playing against it, but not this one. Akali's true invisibility is unfun because there is no way to interact with it. She can dive under towers with no consequences and pick fights with taking virtually no damage. There is no way to remove her stealth like with other champion's stealth abilities. She is beyond annoying to lane or just play against because as soon as you try to fight he she becomes untargetable for what feels like forever. I play with a larger group of other players and they all feel the same sentiment when it comes to this champion. She also has the highest ban rate in the game right now so it looks like other players feel the same way. I'd like to know if anything is being done to address this issue (especially the issue with her stealth). Thanks for hearing me out.
