Champ Specific ELO Queue

What if we added a Queue, or changed the standard system to match you with/against people of a certain elo based on how you perform on certain champions?

You can flex the lp rewards to match.

Not only would it prevent "1st time x champion" situations but would allow for a more forgiving learning curve for trying out new champions.

A bit of a necro here.

If you only played one champion and it was banned, then the system would not work. You can't decide a champion before you go into queue.
Players carry in decision making, not just mechanics. Huzzygames did a series on unranked to diamond where he plays champs he's not necessarily good at at all, but he climbs through smart decision making.
