Beta map - FPS is not the same, any solutions?

I took a break from league of legends and now that I am playing again, I have noticed that my fps is much different than when I use to play. I start around 50 fps which is normal but then in laning phase I may be anywhere around 25-35 fps, which is good for me and playable. The problem is when I am at either inhib towers or sometimes when minions come into the lane, I get a drop in fps. And sometimes in big team fights my fps may drop from 25 to 5-15fps which gets a little rough in team fights. Because of this, I am forced to main jungle for now, but I am hoping if anyone experienced this with the new updated map and found a solution.
