Placement system unfair?

I went 4/6 in my placements. Sure this isnt the optimal score but i was gold 1 with 86 LP and when i go -2 losses i get placed in silver 1? What the **** is up with that? Riot announced placements weren't going to have such a huge impact this time but this is the opposite of what i was expecting.

from what I've noticed "low impact" means placements wont place you very high up loll
