Brusiers and other divers can do what they want to do but way better

Vi is a prime example. why pick any assassin when u can pick vi?

Kha'zix is an AD assassin and he is far from worthless.

You pick an assassin over Vi if you want to dive in for a kill and then GET BACK OUT. Vi might be more reliable at diving someone, but that is because once she's in, she's in. Barring a clever flash or something, Vi presses R, hopefully gets a kill and then bends over to take a whuppin. If you built her heavy damage, she's likely gonna die and quick. But an assassin like Kha will dive in, Q you to death, dance around while stealthed and then hop back out alive. Unless he's weak as shit, then he's still dead... but he still had more chance of escape than Vi ever did.

AD assassins are not useless. I play Blue kayn quite often and have incredible results with him.

Assassins in general are supposed to be a feast or famine type champ. If they were doing well across the board that would indicate they were having to much of a feast. In general they are supposed to be conterpick type characters, and they shouldn't be generalists.

If they are doing badly right now that is probably more based on what your opponents are picking. At the same time they tend to be higher skill floor champs requiring more practice to do well with.

It would not be healthy to have high damage, high reward, low skill floor champs, that can be picked well into any enemy comp.
