Why doesn't Riot just put back oracle's elixir to make facing akali a bit less frustrating.

If Zed/Fizz and other champions ults can be completely cancelled by a 600 gold item, why can't Akali's dumb w be countered by a 700 gold elixir? It's simple. As much as i like playing akali, is a complete pain in the behind to face her no matter what I pick. probably i'm a garbage player but still this would make her less frustrating to face. low elo players would not spend the gold on it anyways because it does not give damage so she would still be unbeatable in the right hands there.

or just limit the times she can become invisible. dunno, make it like qiyana's green q but let's say she has 3 charges and she has to recast it each time she wants to get invisible

Edit: Why is she strong in literally every stage of the game? she can oneshot anyone in early in midgame and in late game, there is no weak point post lvl 6 on her. Imagine if Yasuo would be strong in every point of the game. Unless the akali player is garbage you can hardly win a trade against her in any point of the game. This isn't right.

Imagine then what people feels playing against Xerath and his infinite mana or zed/talon and his im 0-0 and can one shot you missing almost everything

Her weak point is when she doesn't have ult, and pre-6. She also needs to be fed or to have farmed considerably well to oneshot primary carries, and can't really deal with bruisers. Twilight shroud is strong, but other assassins also have some form of safety, do much better in the early game, or have an ult that's stronger than Akali's (Rengar Qiyana )

my boi Teemo already gets fucked by the amount of stealth negation in the game incredibly hard. Atleast now his ult is somewhat viable, oracles would just delete it. He's not the only one that would get screwed over massively by oracles.

So to rephrase your question: "why don't we fuck every trap based champion just to counter akali instead of looking at akali?"

Because when an item like that completely negates a part of their kit, that champion becomes ass tier at any rank where people are semicompetent.

Zed can still ult someone and kill them with ult, even if they have Zhonya's. Your ult CD is lower than their Zhonya's CD.

They removed the elixir because of the complaints from constant warding pains and battles between supports. Put it on a tank, never worry about wards or vision again.

Then again, I can see why you dealing with Akali is annoying. But bringing back an item won’t solve it. Use vision wards.

Oracle's isn't needed for that. Pink wards should reveal her and all other instances of stealth.
