So i like playing support but most of the time i just get insta killed by there assasins like sure i usually end up doing good but i also dont know how to do better i peel i set up plays i ward how am i suppose to improve and how am i supposed to carry as support other than warding alot im planning on maining janna from silver to gold 5 (Im b1 atm) but first i want to know how to do better as support

I usually find I have to exchange my summs for a kill, or surviving at least.
Often I find the assassins are too greedy and will tower dive in an attempt to get a kill. In these situations I tend to let them jump on me before flashing out and throwing down my knock-up, silence, slow etc. and then the rest of my abilities as needed, relying on the tower to do a lot of the work as it has more damage, and my adc if they are still alive, hopefully.
I will sometimes use exhaust if I have it to reduce their damaged dealt and slowing them usually causing them to die or leave low health and me still having a turret and alive, most of the time.
Other than that just be wary not to go to far away from your turrets without knowing where the enemies are.

Playing support in bronze
That was your first mistake. Wait til you get to like Silver 3 or 4. Trust me.
In bronze? Play this champion. 
Start with

Laning phase: your plants are your largest source of spell damage, but don't forget autos. Zyra has a solid auto animation and can harass very hard when the enemy ADC goes for CS. If the enemy lane doesn't strike you as a threat (in champ select), even consider running hybrid penetration runes so your autos hit harder.
Once you hit level three, just wait for the enemy ADC to CS. E as he walks forward to root him, follow up with QW to spawn a plant on top of him. Procs Thunderlord's every time. Loads of damage. Once you start storing multiple seeds, you can even EQWW for yet more burst. Your goal is to zone the enemy ADC very, very hard. But remember that you're squishy. Don't get greedy.
First back, aim to buy either

if you're planning to farm a lot or the enemy jungler has a heavy gank presence. Otherwise, just build offensively, cover your flanks with a control ward, and buy your sightstone on second back.

Only as your final item, and only if you don't need anything else, build this to carry harder.
Cheap and adds tons of damage. You'll buy this in most of your games. The default choice.
