Need Help with Ranked, again.

Role I'm looking for: Mid Playstyle: Super safe laning + farming, tries keeping waves pushed to turrets. Damage is a plus. Not too prone to getting destroyed by all-ins. Good damage contribution to fights and objectives. My current pick: Heimerdinger Why I'm posting: Haven't done well with Heimerdinger of late. Fizz wrecked me. Jhin wrecked me. Cannot kill tanks with Heimerdinger; Malphite is a pain. Looking for someone else to cheese Bronze and Silver with, as I feel like I've run out of steam on Heimer. Unless there are tips or item suggestions that I should partition based on the scenario that I can use with Heimer to counter specific threats (aka what to build when vs whom), then I want to win with someone more guaranteed to do well.
