Some reasonable Malzahar changes to make him viable without breaking him...

As the title says...

Malzahar is currently sitting at a 51%-52% win rate: http://na.op.gg/champion/malzahar/statistics/mid https://champion.gg/champion/Malzahar/Middle?league=

As Malzahar's issues that he faces that I could see is mainly in his passive and his ultimate, so I felt like he could use a new passive and some changes to his ultimate to make him viable again - with some changes to Malefic Visions.

New Passive: Void Shift

Voidlings mark enemy champions for 5 seconds (the mark is refreshed by each voidling basic attack); the next ability cast (excluding Void Swarm) deals 3% (2% per 100 AP scaling) of the target's current health in magic damage.

W: Void Swarm

Damage increased from 5-64.5 (based on level) to 60/70/80/90/100 magic damage

AP scaling increased from 20% to 40%

AD scaling increased from 40% to 60%

Voidling duration increased from 8/8/9/9/10 to 10/12/14/16 seconds

Voidling health increased from 65-201 to 104-301 (based on level)

E: Malefic Visions

Damage increased from 80/115/150/185/220 to 115/150/185/220/255

New Effect Malefic Visions reduces enemy champions attack damage by 15/20/25/30/35

R: Nether Grasp

Damage increased from 125/200/275 to 200/275/350

The changes I've decided for Malzahar is to make him more of a lane bully type champion.

I feel like people don't realize that old Malzahar, while simple, was also at 52ish% win rate

All these people need to stop trying to overcomplicate a previously simple kit and stuffing a bunch of hidden effects on everything.

hes at a 51-52% winrate... If that is correct, he is in a fine spot and perfectly viable.

Malzahar is not exactly a difficult champion to play, so his winrate is right where it needs to be.

No buffs needed. Also, ANY damage buffs are certainly, NOT needed.

1.8% play rate dude. Riot destroyed him. Not that I agree with the OP, that would be pretty broken tbh, but he DOES need buffs.

I feel like Malzahar is already good where he is as a scaling champion and his passive makes him unique. There are already enough lane bullies as it is, and he kind of already is one if he decides to use his abilities to pressure you off cs instead of using them to farm, and 115 damage at rank 1 is WAY too much, with his short cds and most mid laners being very low on health numbers anyways. Plus with that new affect you added with his E, it will make lane csing for AP users even harder. That's too much power, considering his E spreads.

With the new passive you added though I think it should be % max health instead of current or else it won't do much to low health enemies.

The best buff they could give Malz right now:

W: Summon a voidling, it doesn't insta die.

Malz fixed
