Hecarim's Current State

After the nerfs to Homeguard and TP, Hecarim's win rate has diminished. Plus the recent unnecessary nerf to his passive, his win rate has been sitting at a pathetic win rate of 45%.

What makes him really weak right now is that there are very few items that work well on him. Thanks to Ezreal, Iceborn Gauntlet was nerfed and now it's just a noob trap, since Hec's E just knocks targets out the slow zone, making him extremely easy to kite.

IMO: I think Hecarim deserve a couple buffs, to get him back on his hooves again. Adjust his passive ratio a bit, make his E last longer or faster (right now Rammus' Q is better than Hec's in every way), make his ult go faster. I am not expert in balancing

they could buff his ratios and give him damage reduction during when his q is fully stacked

yeah he either needs a damage buff to make him a stronger fighter or a tank buff to give him a big team fight presence. Right now he has nothing, he hasnt been relevant since season 3 almost

Then there is also the fact that ulting makes you lose the E buff (I don't know if Riot already corrected this bug, but before, if you used E and DIDN'T auto-attacked and then ulted, you would lose the E buff, making you essentially waste an ability)

Hmm... I've never noticed the issue with E+IBG because I don't use E to engage. (Well, I do for Ganks, but by the time I have IBG the whole laning/ganking phase is over). IBG is more of a good item to use with his Q. Even then, Frozen Mallet might be a better grab if you want reliable CC.

Almost all of Hecarim's kit nerfs have to do with his Top Lane presence. Which clearly was overdone as he is ranked as one of the worst top laners.

They need to help his mana sustain. His mana Sustain is completely terrible. So jungle Hecarim is his best role since he can get blue and stuff. His mana sustain isn't the worst, Kindred's and so on is, but it's really bad and he could use a good reduction. You pretty much can use your Q a lot, and that requires mana, can't we just reduce those numbers? I'm happy with his damage, I'm happy with his tankiness, just give him better mana sustain.
