Im having trouble with him, especially when the team has alot of knockups, I usually build lifesteal attackspeed warwick since the tank one didn't have the damage was killed easier

Build him Bruiser. Going full damage, or full tank is bad. Learn the balance of items and then you will start to do way better.

Try building him like a juggernaut. Lots of HP and damage.

Stuff like:

Options for Health and AD item 3053 Sterak's Gauge item 3071 The Black Cleaver item 3748 Titanic Hyrda

Options for sticking power: item 3022 Frozen Mallet item 3025 Iceborn Gauntlet item 3800 Righteous Glory

Options for Magic Resist: item 3065 Spirit Visage item 3091 Wit's End

Options for Armor: item 3742 Dead Man's Plate item 3800 Righteous Glory item 3068 Sunfire Cape

Triforce or Iceborn Gauntlet can be really good because he can proc sheen relatively easily with Q, and with items like Sterak's Gauge you actually increase their effectiveness because of your increased base AD.
