Why does Katarina has an instant jump and is still so poorly designed in general?

Riots design lately is to add a "delay" to almost every spell on which it is possible. And I actually think this adds more depth to the game.

Examples

  • Pyke Q, E
  • Morde Q, E
  • Aatrox Q, E
  • Vlad E ...

Also almost every single jump/dash spell in the game has an animation time, where you can predict/dodge/see a champions attack (this is especially important on assasins).

Examples

  • Kha'Zix E Jump
  • Talon Q Dash
  • LeBlanc E Dash ... You see those skills and can react uppon them. Additionally the assasins have to take this animation time into consideration before engaging.

How ever the ONLY champ that has an instant jump is Katarina (Maybe Akali too). This is especially frustrating cause she resets it after every kill and on dagger jumps. It's not even skill anymore when you can't even click on her cause she is jumping around so fast. I think katarina is very poorly designed and really frustrating to play against. She literally demolishes every non-tank in the matter of a second, while getting instant resets afterwards again (Rengar similar poor design). Katarina especially gets easily fed vs new / bad players in general, which will make her unstoppable the whole game long without much counterplay.

Stun her? No the point is that you die in 1 sec. Especially when her team is around.

she has a delay shunpo'ing out after she shunpo's in so.... if you die to her then you shouldn't have died innit.

Also, her dagger mechanic is her delay component. (Watching that damn thing swirl around in the air is aggravating)
