An Honest Cry For Help: I'm stuck.
Tank Meta. Ever since this season started, it's been a haven for tanks. Here's the problem. It feels extremely frustrating to play anything other than a tank right now. When I'm playing Mages and ADCs I used to play, it just feels like a futile effort because a Sejuani and a Maokai are right on me, taking off half of my health while my Voidstaff/LW and I fail to take half of theirs.
It's incredibly frustrating, and in my opinion, extremely unbalanced and unhealthy for gameplay. Not to mention they're bringing out a new Devourer enchantment. Right now, I'm at a loss for how to play this game and still have fun with it. I used to have tons of fun because everything felt like it could swing both ways in a game. Now, once the snowball's begun, there's seldom much you can do about it.
Regardless of my opinion or my skill level, right now I just want to have fun playing this game again. I'm not, and I want to know how I can better my play style or my knowledge so that I may bypass what I believe to be the foolishness that is Tank Meta.
My preferred roles are Mid and Support. I'm second best at ADC, then Top, and finally Jungle. I'd like to note that I really don't feel this frustration when I'm playing as support, because all I'm doing is peeling for my carries, so there's that. I don't want to play support every game of my life until this meta swings out of popularity.
More specifically, here are some questions that I'd like some help with:
- What should I be building?
- What new champs should I learn, and which ones should I get better at?
- What should I be focusing on in game; whether it be blowing up the back line and ignoring the tanks, or simply peeling until we can get to the back line.
- What is the best way to counter this kind of meta? Is it with a certain champion, or is it with a certain play style? What has worked best so far for you?

Take this as QQ or whatever, but I'm honestly trying to better myself, and once again have fun at the game I used to love playing. Anyway, thanks guys.
