So.... About Xerath.

You remember back a long while ago you said Xerath didn't really seem fun to play, so you reworked him?

You said he had a rather low play rate and didn't really feel satisfying to play.

Now that he's reworked. I believe he's played even less than before. It feels super bad on him that his ult is incredibly hard to land, and doesn't really do as much damage as I feel an ult should. The likelihood of you actually hitting all shots from his ult is so low, you deserve an instant rank up for doing so. I had complained about this to myself before, but his ult needs to just be bigger. Currently it's just a crappier verison of Jhin's ult, which does more the lower their health, slows them when hit, and can hit ANYONE within a single line (it can be body blocked, I get that. I'm just meaning the line AoE is easier to hit, less margin for error), not just a small radius AoE.

His Q is also pretty easy to side step by anyone with half a brain, and the move itself is highly telegraphed. Though... I still don't really see this being the part of his kit needing changed. It's primarily his ult, and his stun... also perhaps his passive.

Xerath main here!

He is not played becasue he is very hard to play correctly, even harder than the pre-update one. About the ult, by playing Xerath you'll notice that most of his damage comes from his regular spells, and that the ult is used more for finishing off fleeing opponents. Or also to still participate in a teamfight if you're far away. But the ult is almost never used as a pure source of damage.

No need to change him, if you're skilled enough you can destroy the enemy team. But first you need to become skilled enough ;)

He required more skill before his rework since he rooted himself as a basic ability; one of the few champions to apply CC to themselves.

Yes but hitting skillshots from such a fixed point is easier than when you're moving at the same time. At least when the rework happened, I missed most of my skillshot because I was moving while casting :P

But yeah I guess he is safer now.

Xerath actually has a surprising level of skill required to play well, everything is a skill shot and when hit correctly devastates an opponent. His ult actually does a surprising amount of damage and it feels so good to just make your opponents dance around. If you're having trouble I'd recommend checking out a youtuber Nvo. He is amazing at Xerath and gives guides on lane matchups skill orders and rune pages etc.

I wish his ult wasn't so visually underwhelming. It's like he's lobbing little spurts of pee streams.

1300 + %215 of AP doesn't deal enough damage LUL. You can also add Luden and Thunderlord's Decree.

His ult can easily destroy an ADC from 6000 range if you hit at least 3 arcane barrages(even 3 if you're super feed).

old xerath used to be way funnier to play, they reworked him because he was overpowered

his W used to give bonus range but also +40% mr penetration, a free void staff hell even stronger his passive had nothing to do here , converting 15% of his AP into Armor but it made xerath having 200 armor in late game with zhonya and that's fucking good since adc are in every games

and what i don't understand is that he was played in lcs but they STILL REWORKED HIM
