Who Do You Honor After a Game?

It's pretty neat, but there's something about it that just 'grinds my gears'.

Currently, if players on your team decides to honor someone they'll honor the player who carried the game (on exceptions where people honor the player who believed in them during their struggles). This is truly well deserved and I respect that. Sadly, the true hero is in a majority of the times never noticed.

**I'm talking about your support! **

When your botlane goes hard & destroys the enemy botlane following by snowballing the whole game securing you another win/ LP, the ADC is the one who's noticed and so to be believed to have carried the game.

We die for you, make the clutch saves & sometimes we turn our 'not-too-experienced' ADC into a killing machine.

It's depressing!

I've never been too focused about receiving a honor or anything such, but after this update we supports truly get to experience being ignored for our effort. It's not about us wanting to be worshiped or noticed for everything, not at all. The whole idea of this post is that we players are being blind~ having a tunnel vision on who did what.

In the end we remain as the unkown hero (with no honor in our pockets D:).

I always honor the player who was friendly and made the overall experience better for the whole team.

And that person tends to be the support quite often.

You make a good point, maybe I will take some time to appreciate my support's efforts.

When I ADC, I always honor the support even if we lose or get smashed. If I mid or top and the jungle helps me in lane, they get an honor. If I jungle, I honor whoever was the most proactive person on my team trying to help us win.

I just honor whoever is friendly, not whoever carries.

I honor people who follow my instructions when I shotcall. It's sad that the ADC has to be the shotcaller though, because even in platinum people don't understand how to adapt their gameplay to ensure the best results. Since I am ADC, usually the only person who even bothers trying to help is the support. So I'll usually honor my support.

Ofcourse I'll call the support out if they're just plain garbage, like those supports just sitting back doing nothing and expecting a free win.

When I can't think of anyone to honor or can't remember who stood out, I just honor the support by default. I don't ever remember winning games where we had a horrible support. A feeding mid ? Sure. A shit for brains jungler ? Sure. But a noobshit feeding ass support ? Lose every time.

I have never really allowed myself to be persuaded into doing something just because it's normal. There has always been an "honor" system, you could give a thumbs up on all the players in the game at the post-game screen and even had choices as to what you're giving them "honor" like you can now. So why in the world do I get this fullscreen popup after every game now? Really bugs me that im almost forced, but not forced, to honor someone on my team. Lots of games there are crappy players or eveen whole teams but regardless I usually click the "not this time" button unless there was a player that I actually enjoyed playing with or was just fun to talk to etc. I don't even like the idea of using the word 'honor' in a videogame like it's honorable to ignore your family and friends etc in order to submerge yourself into a fake world. Just silly

From a Gameplay point: I usually honor Top or Supp - ADC and Jgl just in extreme cases. A good engage - a good call - a good TP, that's something I can keep in mind until the endscreen. =P

For a positive attidude I only honor in cases of toxic team - surr spams - etc. (Or if I solo carry and have no idea who to honor from an gameplay point of view. x'D)
