Report Filter & players doing Intentionally Afking.

Hi & welcome to the thread. :)

After too many months away from League I've decided it was time to return to help out the community by doing the support role! Sadly, I've had a rough start with the player interaction. It's not the connection issues or those who decides to leave the game before its over which is my issue. Infact, it's the players who decide to run around in base spamming /ff whenever its possible & assisting the enemy team with info.

This wasn't something I used to struggle with before in other seasons, but it seems like it might be a more common thing now than it used to be before. What really worries me is that the 'offenders' have the same excuse(s), that being "active afk" wont get them caught/ reduces chance to be seen by the report filters. As much as I want to believe this is not true... I have a feeling this might be a fact as im sure there's a overflood of reports being sent in & I need to depend on the system to find justice as Riot already have enough of work to do!

So it got me curious and here I am sharing my questions & thoughts with you! How does the system find you guilty of afking a game where you didn't really afk, but just ran around in base doing nothing? I'm sure a majority of the reports are hand-picked & reviewed by a Riot Employee, but what about those who goes throught the system? I'm excited to see what you think ! [slayer-jinx-catface]

Recently, two out of my last three games I've been so unfortuned to have certain players who decided to intentionally afk at base & telling where & what we do in /all for the most hilarious reasons.

My lane did great & the other lanes did well aswell, those who struggled got help & good communication to stabilize. When the Mid game was about to happen, our Varus decided it was a great idea to give him the blue... Yepp! The jungler didn't agree on this and took it infront of his eyes & hell broke loose. This fella decided to /all that he was going to faceplant botlane and they could pick him up if they would like too. After many deaths he decided it was time to enjoy the view from the base before "leaving" the game. Went from great victory to a depressing defeat.. I cry. xD

Every lane went well except for our dear Cassiopeia. Once we got the first tower at bot we thought it was nice to help her out with her tower, but she had other ideas. You see, she wanted bot lane for herself to recover farm and we were okay with that... but when we came back to bot because the enemy team wanted bot tower she flipped as "we were taking her farm". She got so frustrated because we just wanted to contest the tower that she ran to base and told us how bad we were and assisted enemy team in /all... We tried, but could sadly not maintain the game as the other team members were to frustrated.

edit I forgot to mention that some players use the Zz'rot portal item while staying in their base. Does this in any way make the system believe they're still active as theyre gaining a few minion kills eventho they're "afk" without being flagged?
