What is going on with ranked?

I've never finished a season lower than gold. In season 7 at the end of the season (last three days), I turbo climbed b/s to gold, on 5 accounts, of my own, NOT BOOSTING, easy. Why is it so hard, this season, to get out of silver? What changed, that I'm not seeing? I just don't get it. How is there always, 3 players, going 0/5 or worse, before 10 minutes. It's actually insane, how half or more of my games, I end up having to play, my lane, 1v4. I've never had problems, before this seaosn, getting out of silver. Can someone explain? I've never felt, like I had to duo, to climb out of silver, before this season.

A lot of smurfs from higher ranks are playing.

Here are the logical things I see.

MMR side. New Tiers and Divisions sink ladder if they represent old MMR ranges. EA. Iron 4 = Bronze 5. There is still 27 Titles you can have on your account this year and last but there is new Titles for them. It sinks all MMR below Plat. New tiers look like this. Iron would be B5-2. B is b1-s3. S is S2-G4. G is G3-P5 P is P4-1.
Assuming that the ranges for each MMR are the same the entire ladder shifted to lower values up till P4.

Also, Lower Staring MMR = Ladder sinking as it becomes closer to the mean average of players with out some system in place to slant directions.

Riot Side. Duoing is done badly. Has been for ever. Needs to be off MMR not Tiers. Positional MM and Duoing have very funky interactions. One of them has to be adjusted.

Playerside Folks increasingly resort to duoing when stuck. Which makes worse MM quality in unpredictably funky ways due to player populations. Fking far to many idiots don't play to win in a ranked Que. More then that, to many Idiot players in general. Seriously PVP is heavily impacted by the quality of its player base. I am not talking about some majority number. The idiots I speak of can be #'s as low as 10% Playerbase toxicity shows up in a massive # of games. Roll 9 D10 Dice 10 times. Pick any 1 number to represent a negative player. every time you see that # in a string of 9 you have a toxic player.

Hell even 5% is pretty common and easily tested the same way with D20s and that breaks down to what... 1 in 20 players?
