Guinsoo's and the Rage it induces

So I'll start this off by saying, I read the "Before you post about balancing" thread and I understand it. I also will front this by saying, I watch rather little professional play and I have almost zero idea what happens beyond Plat, being low silver/bronze sort of region myself.

But can we talk about Guinsoo's here?

In my experience, the top bans are currently Udyr, Xin, Kog, and Jax. All four of these are heavily reliant on Guinsoo's for their current power. I've seen it built on Warwick, Aatrox, and Trundle to good effect as well (Trundle less so). Any time a champion finished this item, they immediately become a serious threat. As long as they don't throw the advantage the item brings them, they are a dominant force on their team and can often turn the tide of a game entirely. Xin is among the most dangerous junglers because sated/Guinsoo's and pure tank makes him nearly impossible to kill without a serious team effort, which you usually can't get in teamfights. Certainly not on a tank.

Remove Guinsoo's and I can almost guarantee Xin will drop completely off the radar.

An item that causes this brutal of a power spike really shouldn't be part of this game. You shouldn't have a single item where a champ can build it, stack tank, and out-damage carries.

When bans are based on the effect of an item that champ can build, there's something wrong with that item.

Is that a fair statement?
