fairly fun and very unique to play.
she also might as well not be there. Having Yuumi on your team makes it a 4v5 unless her ult is up.

Yuumi is...
Extremely new with a pretty unique playstyle, and people don't know how to utilize her kit properly yet, so judging the champion this soon after release is a bad idea that will likely lead to unnecessary buffs, which will lead to her being way too strong after people learn how to use her.
If I have a Yuumi support as adc I just stand back and hug tower. I might as well be solo laning, but still losing my exp because there's an ally champion nearby.
Meanwhile, the fucking cat lands nothing, the buffs are easily dealt with via the damage meta that is bot lane with supports being apc's like Brand and Zyra, and there's no peeling if you're against a Thresh, Blitz, or Morgana.
Yuumi is fucking worthless, aesthetically an abomination, and should be deleted and the designer of her fucking fired without severance pay.
Shes seems good in premade, team gameplay but yea for soloqueue shes shit tier. Another champion that's inevitably going to be balanced around professional play.

Even her ult is useless. You can have 2-3 Items and STILL do no damage with it.
I dont think Yumi herself is a bad champion, I found that enchanters as a whole are fairly weak. If enchanters were meta(or strong) I'd feel like she would be good.
Currently it feels like the meta are Tanks that have tools to help the adc be tankier because damage is unavoidable. So braum, taric, and or something like morgana, then it would the hard CC utility supports like... nami, and rakan. (that have Heals and Hard CC). then onto something like... hard CC? LIke maybe alistart or Naut.
THen after them its the Mage supports, like Vel, brand. after that maybe the Enchanters that dont have hard cc, possibly things like Karma, soraka janna? and Yuumi.
thats just how I feel, I feel as if Enchanters as a whole took a big blunder after the ardent censer meta. which they were repeatedly nerfed, and items.
Every teamfight you get: A single target attack and 2 minor heals + speedbuff along with some minor AP/AD.
So yes, Yuumi's teamfight potential is indeed terrible and I am a bit shocked she got released as she is now.
I think people are still learning her. They think they're supposed to sit untargetable the whole game and not contribute, but early on, Yuumi needs to be out and about helping her ADC match the enemy clear, poke the enemy to discourage a dive, and keeping her passive shield and mana up.
Since she is so mobile and can choose to become untargetable, I really don't think she needs Flash. None of her abilities are impactful enough on their own to need to Flash into range for them, and if she needs to get out of a bad situation without an ally nearby, she's dead anyway. Ignite + Exhaust is the way to go.
Try this: Stay outside your teammate most of the time in the laning phase, and only get inside them to avoid damage, heal them, or control your Q. Bait enemy skillshots by stepping up, then dashing back to your carry. That way, not everything is being directed at them.
Yuumi has a weak early game, but her late game is pretty awesome, which is strange for a support.
Yuumi's kit is interesting but she's hot garbage. Heals suck and the CD is too long. Her skill shot range is trash. You should be able to move her ult around and not rely on it being one direction only because it requires way too much team coordination for solo queue otherwise. Her AP scaling is TRASH
