We're moving towards "No Support Role"
Agree, or disagree? Bot lane is consistently becoming more friendly to champion's who aren't deemed as "supports"

Technically, any champion can be played as support. There are Poke Supports, Heal Supports, Shield/Buff Supports, CC Supports, and Displacement Supports. Most, if not all, champions can qualify as any of these, the most basic being poke, who's only job is to whittle down opponents so they either flee or die.

I have played support like that. I have always wondered though, if this is what the position turns into what happens to the traditional support champions?
They're better at the job; "traditional" supports scale well even without gold/levels; champions like Katarina need both since they don't offer anything besides damage, really.
typically most if not all champs can indeed work with a marksmen bot. However the majority of the champions that arent deemed actual "supports" (again not all but the majority) are usually considered kill lanes. Kill laning can actually be very effective especially in solo queue.
Look at the new classification system. Support is only a role now, not a type of champion.
Disagree only because having a support is the most efficient form of gold for a team. The name is changing, but supports are staying.
I don't know why this was downvoted.
Support was always a Forced role. it's pointless and has no real purpose. I'm glad rito is finally realizing their lack of logic on the matter.
Supports can do almost anything, really, though is optimized for "no damage more utility focused" due to their reduced gold gains, and that damage items are the expensive ones.
It's been like that ever since they revamped the warding changes in s4, just took people a long time to realize that, and the effectiveness of such "unusual" comps.
