Poppy's Potential?

Greetings all this is my first post here and nice to meet you all. I only have a few questions to ask and yes I am a Poppy main. I have played her for quite sometime and found her success as either support or jungle. However I am very weak at top lane due to tough competitions I go against.

My questions are..

1: What should I build for top lane to survive against tough encounters such as range or those with powerful baseline kits? 2: How would you guys feel if they switched her status role from top lane to either support or jungle? 3. How would you guys feel if they wanted to rework her kit?

That's about it and Poppy mains are welcome to give a shout out here in a Poppy thread.
