Early Snowball

Idk if it's me but I've seemed to plateaued in ranked this season at low silver and I've noticed that a majority of the games that I lose is because of an early snowball in all of the lanes. It gets to the point where it's like 20 and 3 and sometimes my team just cant come back after even 4 and 0. Has anyone else experienced this or is it just low elo players arent that good at coming back after a huge snowball(or in general)? Also, what are some champs I can play to hard carry these types of games?
