Riot Please Buff Soraka

I've been playing Soraka since I started playing League back in Season 2. I have a pretty big chunk of experience with her. She desperately needs a way to stay relevant when the enemy team stacks Grievous Wounds. She's just too useless if the enemy decides to build healing reduction (which they always do, especially in higher ranks). I remember her Ultimate previously removed Grievous Wounds on all allies before applying the heal which would be great. Or remove her near useless movement speed passive and make it so Soraka's allied healing isn't affected by Grievous Wounds. She's just too trash right now, all she has in her kit is healing and she can't even properly do that with healing reduction. If you want counter play to Healing champs it should be focused on picking champs that have healing reduction in their kit (Varus, Kled, Kat) not focused on buying an 800 gold item that makes my champion awful at the only thing she does.

OR instead of messing with healing reduction you could always give Soraka her old passive back, that increased healing based on missing % health. Similar to what Yuumi has right now. I don't know why you guys decided to make the Main Healer in the game so bad at healing. Instead of Buffing her Q damage like you just did buff her healing. I don't want to be forced to play aggro Soraka and abuse her Q when she's not supposed to be an aggro support. She's supposed to be a sit back and heal your teammates support. I would be totally fine if you guys completely removed damage from Q and literally made it do 0 damage if you land it so long as it heals Soraka for more.

No. No. No. The last thing we need right now in this meta is the return of mass healing supports.

I actually like her old heal+armor buff more than the current version. I also miss the old poke and mana gift of her infuse.

I wouldn't mind if she got a small rework to give her back protection to her heal. Up the cooldown, remove the self damage, and move some of the healing into AR and MR. Maybe make it more defense on high health targets, more healing on someone low.

Soraka right now is a very intense poke support. Her damage on Q is incredibly high and she can afford to get hit by the enemy’s harass as Q will heal her up. Go Q -> E -> W, then max R -> Q -> W -> E. Always try to land a Q before healing an ally.

Go Redemption into Athenes into Mikaels or Ardent. Grab a defensive item or the last heaing item, CDR boots for more AP, then Rabadons. You can deal decent damage while outputting tons of healing. You can even kite around peeps like Panth late game.

I've long held the position that GW is too accessible. Passive application as it is now forces all healing (except Garen) to be balanced around the assumption of it's application. GW should be situational and more difficult to apply.

Examples of good GW application: Kat/MF ult, Varus E, old Morello's (Debatable - when it applied only if the target had 30% health or less).
