Unlucky? Or what am I missing?

I'm currently stuck in gold 5. Like i literally feel stuck. As many of you know, this year is completely different from last as far as skill level goes. I'm just finding it extremely hard to consistently win games. Not only that.. I'm now in the position where I only gain 16-17 LP a win and lose 20-21 a loss. I feel like its back to back that I'm getting an afks/troller/or someone that is basically boosted. Dont get me wrong, I understand that these things happens sometimes but this has been consistent for a while now. I'm lost now.

I play Jungle TOP mainly, but can easily play anything else well expect support.

What am I missing? Is there anything I should focus on? Should I just play carry champions only?

Judging by your LP gain/loss, it seems that you are ranked higher than what your MMR says you should be. You have an MMR of about Silver 3. You're winning games, but your MMR isnt going up. You're losing more than you gain b/c of that reason. The game is trying to get you back down to where it thinks you should be. So when you lose, it really hurts your LP and you drop fast.

This game gives too much gold for kills. It gives feeders tremendous control over games. Only way to over come this is by mass gaming where if you're good enough you will net enough wins over a long period. Feeding needs to be dealt with very seriously. It makes climbing harder than it should be.
