Evelynn Rework has extremely awful wave clear (discussion) please forward to the development team.
Hello, I'm starting this discussion because I cannot understand the reason behind Evelynns (Q) not resetting on minion waves, instead Riot made it only reset on jungle camps... After playing Evelynn throughout season 7 she became my go-to-champ gaining over 700+ games on her alone, once I heard about her initial rework I took a pretty long break from League of Legends. Once I returned for the beginning of season 8, I decided It might be in my best interest to try and learn the new "Reworked Evelynn" from not enjoying previous champion overhauls in the past, I did not think I would enjoy this one but I actually do.
However after picking her up again recently, all I can say is everything is much better well sort of... Lots of issues got fixed, such as her early game being slightly weaker (understandable) I completely agree with the stealth after 6 change, I main her and I can definitely understand how frustrating it might be to be repeatedly ganked every 5s before you can get control wards out. Her ultimate is way better compared to the previous one, her (W) is decent now she actually has to commit to the target instead of always running away or towards one. In certain aspects she is now way more fun being a "high risk, high reward" type of champion, that actually has some skill shots. It makes her way more fun learning and playing for a veteran player such as myself.
Now moving onto the wave clear issue, Evelynns reworked (Q) is actually not that perfect. It's no longer 100% spam-able unless you hit an enemy champion or jungle camp with the "skill shot" dart, it won't reset on lane minions, and that's what makes playing Evelynn extremely frustrating. Unless you plan on building hextech protobelt every single game, be prepared for her annoying long/slow wave clear.
Riot basically removed any strategy of maybe some day in the future re-using Evelynn in lane again like before, her (Q) feels like nunu's being only slightly better since she can actually use it on champions. Getting towers and slip pushing is way weaker compared too the previous Evelynn, her (E) use to give bonus attack speed if you hit a minion with it and her (Q) was good for minion wave clearing.
In her current state you cannot effectively split push with her alone, it makes getting objectives in solo q much harder by yourself if your team isn't taking any towers.
By making her (Q) reset on minions, like it does on jungle camps this would be a HUGE quality of life change for any Evelynn main. I'm willing to take substitution on her damage for this change, because like I said it's extremely awful in the current state. In solo q I normally use different strategies of macro-playing for gaining objectives split pushing would be one of them.
I thought Riot has learned from this previous mistake of the past, everyone knows champions like nunu are now in need of a major rework because of bizarre kits involving (jungle only) abilities, designated champions abilities to a specific role sometimes renders the champion useless in certain metas.
