The only people that are suffering from Sated Devourer on Vayne are her teammates when she steals all her junglers camps and doesn't pressure her lane whatsoever.

Really, Vayne should just be focusing on dragons and takedowns. It's actually just as fast and doesn't steal income from the jungler.

You don't have to steal anything. You just shoot a camp and let your jungler finish it like normal and you get stacks, and make sure you're there for every drag attempt. The only things you really take are occasional gromps/krugs or scuttles when nothing is happening(not too bad to scoop up one camp if the junglers on the other side of the map anyway). When I tested it, my jungler let me take gromp and scuttle between bot waves and I followed them around a few mins getting jungle camp assists between ganks or after fights, and it was finished around the 25 min range. We did have 2 dragons, so that helped a ton, but it's really nowhere near as hard to finish as an adc as i would have imagined.

Yeah, well with the adc having one at least they can get stacks with just one auto and moving on(don't know if that works on scuttle though). Our jungler didn't have devourer when I tested it though, so I can't be completely sure about both being able to stack, but I'd assume that also works.

I was just in a game where vayne did nothing but farm all early game (with smite) then mid game she left lane once she had her devourer (her jungler yi already had 30 stacks) went right into the jungle and farmed nonstop and the late game with her and yi with devourer wias hell on earth for teamfights. She basically 2 shot everyone on the team and yi could just splitpush to no end. Couldn't even try to get baron or dragon with their double smite.

So what you're telling me is that your bot lane failed to punish her for not taking heal to lane, and then again failed to punish her for leaving lane for extended periods of time. Vayne is one of the weakest adcs in the early game, and opting to not take heal should be a lane autoloss. You honestly deserved to lose.

We did punish her, she got early kills. It was the mastery yi that stopped us from grouping to push and end the game. We couldnt do a single thing in teamfights. He would just comin and get doubles or tripples or just completely push out other lanes. He was the reason that she got to where she was.

I have played so much against Vayne that by this time I can handle her, she is something like pre nerf akali. If you are not a cheapskate and invest into pinks, oracle lenses and actually gank her while not feed her or gave her free farm you will be fine.

Also there are picks that really mess up her day like Malph with FH, Ryze, Jarvan or Jax. But I can't say she is weak or I like to play against her. Same thing was with Thresh and Lee Sin.

hahaha i thought about laning with devour, for about one second then i said duuuuuhhhhh, i dont get the phantom hit until I kill 30 jg camps, and thats after farming up the 2.2k just to start stacking.

strictly for the jungle, any laner with this item is honestly just double jungling

Vayne isn't bursting that Thresh down either. She's whittling away at him over a lengthy period of time with only auto-attacks. Unless, of course, your definition of "burst" is wildly different from the actual game's terms of burst.

Vayne has very little in the way of burst. Of all the ADCs to complain about the burst of, you chose probably the worst one.

You understand there's not much difference between a 450 armor tank and a 200 armor tank..? 200 armor is about 67% reduction. 450 is about 81%. You're only gaining 14% reduction for 250 more armor. >> There's a reason why even Malphites and Rammuses don't build pure armor. It becomes worthless after so much. lol.

That is completely false that armor makes a big difference

450 armor and 3000 hp --> 16500 physical damage can be taken 200 armor and 3000 hp --> 9000 physical damage can be taken

7500 hp/damage difference

If you have 200 armor and you didn't stack extra health, what did you do with that? Put it into damage? You choose Health or Defense. After around 300 armor, you're WAY better off with a Warmogs than another Armor item. There's some special cases like when you're the only tank on your team and you're against Vayne or Yi, where you need a TM, FH, and Randuin's. That by itself totals 270 by itself and puts you nearly at 400 armor. Other than those though, you're usually running Randuin's, Warmogs, Banshee's, and then a CDR item of some sort, which could be a SV, Black Cleaver, Frozen Heart, Iceborn, or what ever. You won't be stacking 400+ armor and expect to do well with 3k health compared to 200 armor and 5k health.

I don't play Vayne. I haven't encountered a Sated Devourer Vayne yet (haven't played much this patch) but Vayne herself doesn't need nerfs.

It is a late game build as you are more vulnerable without the defensive summoner and I am not so sure about how good Devourer is before it get stacked (and it will take a long time to stack)

I did it, it sucks in lane. I went normal build vayne and got stomped in lane, then I went a gp10 setup with a kog and managed to tough it out to stack it eventually. But worth or not, I dont know. For all I know, I could've not got stomped in the first place if I played normally.

Seriously, it's cyclical. It's accomplishing absolutely nothing in the long-term, all under the guise of "game health" because they don't like a champion. I don't like Zed, but I didn't ask for nerfs: I sacked up and countered him.

She hasn't seen any direct buffs since last season, when she wasn't considered very strong. So if you nerf her now, she's going to be even more screwed when the meta shifts again.

Vayne is obviously going to thrive in a meta where assassins are out of favor and tanks are huge. She melts enemy tanks and she benefits from having a beefy front line on her team.

If vayne was dominating in a squishy assassin meta then sure, nerf her. But nerfing her because she's doing well against the exact types of champs/comps she's meant to do well against seems premature.

She isn't just good against tanks, shes also good against non-assassin enemy squishies. If she was a tank buster but couldn't win 90% of adc duels then maybe it would seem more balanced.
