you forgot the part where he jumps half a mile then dashes through a wall. you also forgot the part where hes so inhertly tanky and does alot of dmg because her passive gives him free damage. oh wait, he doesn't have any of that. beside his hextect core already got a early game nerf in favor of late game.

Riven : spins, flips, and dashes all over the map with zero resources. Might as well scale off of CDR. passive that makes her attacks stronger, knockup, small aoe stun, shield that scales off her offense, AD steroid + Range booster, execution.

Viktor : Immobile yet powerful mage. Not super good at engaging, but good at dishing damage from medium range while keeping the opponent away. Has pretty good burst when he does catch you, though. His ult is hard to run from. (also, MANA. RESOURCES.)

They're pretty different if you ask me.

A short speed boost. It has no downtime with 30% cdr. and neither does the shield, while rivens does

A 30% speed boost on a 335 movement speed champion that has a shield from 30-100(+20% AP) (still requires at least 1000-3000 gold to unlock speed boost depending on upgrade path), vs a 325 unit dash with 90-210(+100% AD).

Lets also get down the the nitty gritty of the movement speed boost, (335)(1.3) = 435.5. Since it is above 415, it gets soft capped to (435.5)(0.8)+(83) = 431.4. Congratulations, he can walk 4.3 Teemos in one second, Riven is still FAR more mobile.

By the way, Riven can have her shield up every 2.1 seconds, is far tougher, moves her faster, and can jump walls. Regardless, Viktor is having his Hex Core nerfed in the early game and buffed in the late game to even him out a bit.

Also, why are you using a smurf and not your main account when discussion things on the board?

Viktor can have it so that he can have his speed boost and shield permanently on. And you also have to understand that it's not only a shield and speed boost, it also chunks hard as hell. Also, if riven is jumping walls, she's losing a major part of her combo. Viktor loses nothing for using Q.

If Riven has jumped a wall, she has escaped or ganked which, along with being able to ignore slows, is why dashes are so much more powerful.

It sounds more like you know your statement will be poorly received and instead of linking these statements your main, you use your smurf to dodge accountability since you don't care as much about this account. I think Sion has something to add too.

Viktor is very much not Riven. See, the problem most people have with Riven is killing her is difficult. Viktor is incredibly squishy. He's good at keeping you away, sure, but that's all he's got. If you want to take him out, call for a gank.

A 0/4 viktor with only hourglass and upgraded E at 25 minutes 100-0s me when im 5/0 adc with IE shiv pickaxe and vamp scepter.

The champ's a pain in the ass and is a lot harder to kill than riven simply because he can kite back with ease later in the game while still dealing half your health with a laser as he walks. Riven has to spam everything to create distance, and when behind will not 100-0 an adc like viktor.

You have no health or MR items. Why are you surprised that you die easily to a burst mage? Especially if you walk up to them while they have their abilities off cooldown.

I can assure you that most mages would do similar damage with whatever ability they maxed. Especially if they had Sorcerer Shoes (since you neglected to mention boots).

This, how fed you are means VERY little to a burst mage; (besides you being significantly ahead in levels to the point that your hp/level allows you to survive their rotation), unless you're actually investing in defenses.

All your lifesteal won't mean crap when you die before you can even make use of it. Nearly any burst mage could drop their full rotation on you, and you would die from it at that point

you are an ADC you have no defensive stats whatsoever and unless you have mr from runes you are most likely to be at the base 30 mr which is nothing. You shouldn't complain how you for your horrible positioning got blown up as a squishy. Learn to position yourself better, Viktor literally cannot get to you unless you put yourself in such a dumb position that he can blow everything he has on you

I don't lane with him, I prefer him in the jungle. Laning Ekkos tend to get flask like other mana assassins, though.

Ah, Nashor's. Back when Magus was a thing instead of Runeglaive, I built it second and had 40% cdr (and jungler rights to blue buff). It was very fun, and clears were fast!

Vik has mana, an actual skillshot and his stun has a delay If a Viktor is slowed, he is in trouble, while Riven and her 40% CDR give 0 sh*ts about anything that isn't a knockup, a stun, a root or a silence (all of which also affect Viktor)

Viktor might not be precisely balanced (I do believe he is a tad too strong right now, not overwhelmingly but still), but he would be ten times healthier than Riven if 10x0 wasn't 0.

But he can force you to use your mobility with W. It's either don't join the fight, get stunned (which is instant death), or use your mobility to get around (which is also basically losing the fight) And it's not like walking out of w is simple. It applies a huge slow to keep you in

Viktor can't sneeze, he's a cyborg. Riven doesn't have a movement speed boost. Most viktor's will need 2000 gold in order to get their movement speed boost then they'll need to hit level 13 and buy cdr for it to have 100% uptime. Even then he needs to be within 550 units of an enemy at all times to use it constantly. His stun is delayed and lasts longer than riven's while doing 0 damage He has no knockups His ult doesn't increase the damage of his abilities or execute enemies Viktor can't go over walls without using flash Riven doesn't have 91 armor at level 18 Riven doesn't have 525 range auto attacks Riven doesn't use mana Riven's shield doesn't do damage Riven can buy whatever she wants in 6 item slots, Viktor must buy the perfect hex core at some point Riven only has two arms
