Why is the jungle so ridiculously hard this season?

Let's start this off by saying I'm a plat 3 jungle main, so I have some knowledge of what I'm doing. Each game I've played this season i've come incredibly close to death on the 2 -3rd camp and I've died a couple times before I could even upgrade machete. Riot said that they were making the jungle easier with the changes, but in reality it's the hardest it's ever been. There's nothing you can do to be honest.

is this what you baddies thought i'd say? I've never died in jungle this season. I've never been close to death after 3 camps. Hell I've never been under 60% health after 3 camps. Jungle is the easiest it's ever been, and usually I can be at 80-90% health after clearing four camps stop being bad and complaining
