This botters me every time i see him with classic skin and that splash art is not that great too its like he is so outdated compared to other champions and is left behind so if riot could do a visual update with him maybe even rework him that would be really great and Im sure alot of people would be grateful aswell

They would need to create a new skin in place of Spirit Guard, and provide a compensation for everyone who purchased Spirit Guard Udyr (and possibly refund some people as this skin would probably be different). This is not happening, however.
Riot shouldn't have created this skin to begin with, they missed a great opportunity to make this skin his new visual, and now due to this skin, it will be difficult to make a visual update that do not overlap with Spirit Guard Udyr.
Oleandervine2 votesYou're thinking too narrow mindedly. They COULD make his base skin very much like Spirit Guard, and remake Spirit Guard to be something wholly unique and new. As it sits now, it's not unique. It's just a VGU you had to pay for. There's literally nothing interesting about it outside of how it's just a verbatim upgrade of his base skin.

Keep his clothes as they are as simple pelts and robes that accent his different stances as they do now.
Spirit guard will still retain its over the top visuals and spirit effects to keep it at its price.
(Exactly the same can be applied to Teemo and his Omega Squad skin)
