Losing LP when having an afk in your team

I dont know how many times me and every other player playing this game have experienced afk players in our team in ranked games which drives me insane considering that I will have to play atleast 10-30 more minutes knowing that its 4v5 and someone does not want to surrender because its ranked. Another thing is that there is almost no chance winning a 4v5 situation unless half of your team is fed and the enemy players do not know what they are doing. So my idea is that riot should create a system where the team having an afk would not lose LP if they have an afk for about 10-12 minutes.
