zyra is a really weak champion and needs buffs
i think the plant AI changes were good
but she needs more buffs to compensate for how immobile she is and how unreliable her passive is

I thought this thread had upvotes because it was some kind of joke thread, but it's actually surprising how many people agree with this. As someone who plays Zyra quite a lot, no, she does not need buffs. Her damage output is extremely high, and buffing her in any way would make her overtuned, thus forcing Riot to nerf her in some way or another. How many people who upvoted this actually play Zyra a reasonable amount?
She's very dated for today's mid lane.
Brand and Morgana like Zyra have been reduced to supports because of their lack of mobility.
We want her as a mid lane carry.

She really doesn't. All you need to do is rush a Rylai's and she's amazing at zoning. Then the immobility is a nonissue.
She's fine. Her passive is only as reliable as the person playing her is. Immobility isn't that huge of a deal for certain champions, although it doesn't help being less mobile.
For example, 
are all perfectly viable and easily playable champions, despite having very little mobility.
The amount of cc and damage she brings to the table is nothing to scoff at.
Don't bother with this,even if you'll get what you want she'll just get sejuani'd.
They don't want to put thought into improving her state,their current ideas are downright moronic and will just result in them nerfing her to the ground afterwards.
She's not ahri/lee/thresh,better be left alone in a shit state than going from bad to worse like they did with cassio.

Considering how squishy she is her passive is quite reliable. You will generally be able to use it every single fight =/
The only real change I'd welcome is to make her roots the way it looks in the cinematic. There the roots do not disappear while still moving forward. This would make it impossible to flash over the roots which will solve one very major problem of Zyra.

You can't really dive a Zyra because she'll pop down two (4 if prepped) seeds, Q them, and root you under her tower and plants while she just walks away and gets the kill. Even as support, I was able to zone a Vayne/Braum lane off my first tier tower for a solid three minutes before they got bored and left lane to help their team in mid. My team basically traded a Support for both bot laners, and won two teamfights off of my ability to defend tower.
Zyra doesn't need buffs. She needs QOL adjustments, and that's all.
she has been nothing but nerfed since release but is still on the very high end of kill potential
