Having the same issue. It seems to have happened to me shortly after the arcade/urf update. Even when I click the little green online bubble next to my profile picture to try and manually turn it to away, it goes to away for about 1/4 of a second then goes back to online. I also no longer automatically go away when I haven't done anything in the client for awhile, like I used to.
