Cassiopeia Bot Lane ..... Will it work?

So recently, I've been picking up the role of adc, even though I main mid. I didn't really like the kits of the marksmen vs the kits of mages, so I've been thinking. Which mage could possibly work as an apc in bot lane? The first thoughts were Ziggs, Azir, and Cassiopeia. Ziggs and Azir have incredibly long range so they could work well against marksmen, while Cassiopeia is imo similar to Vayne in the fact that all her damage comes from spamming E (spamming auto attacks in Vayne's case) and both have relatively short range.

However, since the range of marksmen are relatively short, Cassiopeia could easily land a Q on them and get the move speed boost, spamming her E on the poisoned target. I think this, paired a support with a long stun/slow (like Morgana or Braum) she could easily burst down any squishy target. The cc allows her to get more Es in, thus more damage = more likely to kill. The only downside I see to this is that Cassiopeia can't really do much until she gets a tear, so that's probably the only downside.

Also, even though Cassiopeia scales well with levels, the way her kit was built around her E makes it so that she can still have massive amounts of burst at lower levels, and having a support to protect her (she's a squishy mage) would definitely be good. So, what do you guys think? Is Cassiopeia a viable bot laner? Comment down below on your opinions!

Cassiopeia runs out of mana very quickly and her dependence on item 3070 and item 3010 as early buys might make it difficult for her to trade damage. Her wave clear isn't that great early unless she uses a lot of mana - so she'd be pretty susceptible to being pushed in for a large part of the laning phase. She'd also be sharing experience with the support which would delay a lot of her power (especially with her passive as she'd be pretty slow for a long time).

It could work though you'd pretty much need to get an early kill or two - otherwise I would assume it'd be a pretty rough time.

I don't know about that one. Most of the meta adcs have pretty high range atm (or ways to extend their range) with the exception of Lucian.

If Cassiopeia bot actually worked, a Korean would have probably taken it into a competitive game by now.

A couple years ago, a friend and I tried Cassiopeia and Kayle bot. Then they got rid of clarity. Rip.

Only way this works is playing on premade with a singed / teemo because cassio need enemy be posioned , no need poison him by her ven

In my opinion you need another poison champ in bot lane with her for it to even be viable. The best way to do this is with twitch adc and cassio support. It can go well but at the same time it can also be a train wreck.

To be honest i thought this as well and after thinking...it can deny a lot of adcs. Why? Misasma. It shuts down many. It grounds them and slows and posions. It can shut down Kalista passive, Tristana jump, Ezreal blink, Draven weapon throw (cuz hed b slow so itd be a bit harder to catch his weapons) etc, on top of many assassins and ganks as well. And with her QE combo, since ur whole kit is focused round posion, her E is powered up if im right making her lv 2 all ins DEADLY.

Its stupid, and shes immobile without ghost/Q MS bonus, but it could, keyword could be a fun thing to do if you wanna play counter and have a protective support like braum(and since he has a slow, landing Q and rushing E spam could be easier) or go all out troll fun and have a poison based champion, aptly singed, teemo or twitch.

I played this with a duo partner a number of times. The big issue is mana. The way it usually plays out is that you go for an all-in and chunk the enemy but also chunk your mana bar. Unfortunately since there is so much sustain in the game (warlords, pots, healing supports) the enemy ADC's health goes up faster than your mana and you end up losing the trade in the long run.

if you don't know if it will work or how to make it work, then stop trolling and ruining everyone else's games. And pick ADC. I'm sick of all the polak tard trolls doing crap like that and failing every single time.
