The amount of scripters is getting out of hand
Title.
At first I thought people who claimed other people were scripters were people who got owned by their lane and was just a phrase to use kind of like "boosted". But I've come to notice that some games have players that are just ...not quite right.
I do acknowledge that there are a lot of high elo smurfs at almost every stage of the game, from leveling to climbing low-mid elo ranked, there's most likely at least one smurf on each team. However, after leveling this account today some I've noticed some very obvious signs that someone is scripting
- They are generally poor to medicore players UNTIL you get them in a situation where they need to kite and suddenly they are god-mode. Weaving in autos, spells, and movements PERFECTLY.
- They are dodging skillshots in trades way too easily and consistently.
- Their general game knowledge is very poor until they have to fight. If you're suspicious that someone is scripting look how they play outside of fights. Such as positioning in teamfights, farming, chasing, over extending, warding, ganking etc.
If you suspect someone is scripting, your best bet is to go 1v1 them if possible. It should become immediately apparent.
Reporting them almost feels futile because a lot of people aren't going to report because a lot of people don't know what scripting is and for any action to take place, there would have to be an abundance of evidence because the punishments are very harsh for that sort of thing.
It's bad enough trying to level an account when every other game has a d/cer, afker, or feeder, can you please crack down on scripting? It's one less headache.
