Change to Xin Zhao's E for a small buff in the tank world.

Xin Zhao is just on the edge of being a good jungler even with the current meta and how strong tanks are. Given Riot is obviously looking into nerfing cinderhulk, this would put Xin Zhao on par with the new cinderhulk (I hope).

Currently Xin Zhao's E (Audacious Charge) procs his passive (Challenge) which reduces the targets armor by 15%. When using your R (Crescent Sweep) it interacts with your passive by sweeping away non Challenged enemies and only slowing any Challenged unit.

By removing the Challenger proc from Audacious Charge you can give him a mini buff. Currently if you want to 'insec'/ or knockback the lane you're ganking, you would have to E behind them them to a minion and then ult, which wastes 150 Magic Damage at level 6 (you max E as Xin Jungle) and caps up to 230 dmg at level 8.

This small change adds 150/190/230 Magic Damage to your ganks and still gives you the option to either ult the target back after doing the damage/slow of E, or proc your passive with an Auto/Q and save your ult for counter ganks/other situations.

Thoughts?

His E is aoe damage, if you dash close enough to them u still get the damage, and with your change you would loose 15% pen on the first hit. However, it would help alot in teamfights, you could charge the carry and walk or flash past him for an 'insec' rather than dash a suport or whatever near the carry and hope for the best.

The problem is what if I want to use E to single out a squishy target and then knock away all their allies?

I'd knock away the target, too, which wouldn't be in my best interest. Pausing for even a second to auto them and apply the debuff could also be the difference between success and failure if they have any sort of CC.

I max E as Xin jungle?

The point of giving Audacious Charge challenge was exactly to **prevent **him from doing that with ease.

Could you imagine?

His E deals AoE damage, a small known thing, so you still deal the damage.
