Lack of a PBE invite.

I'm a little upset at the moment. I've been playing League since season 3 and have had a PBE application in the system since season 4 but have yet to be accepted.

Now that's ok, maybe I didn't fit the criteria they had for each patch.

Since Bard was released, I've become a lover and have played him pretty loyally. 400k masteries worth. This week when I checked the PBE, like I have been doing since season 4, I noticed some Bard changes. I thought that I might finally have gotten an invite and went to check my status on the PBE. Still nothing from them, which has lead me to believe that I will never get a PBE invite, since I haven't yet and still not even when the best conditions are met.

Some side notes:

I finished plat 1 last season in support, so it's not because of lack of skill. I haven't been chat restricted since season 4 and received all end of season rewards as well as good behavior awards. I've dumped some serious money into this game (yes I know that doesn't improve my standing, but it still hurts). I've already dumped a lot of time into Sandbox Mode, idk if Riot even keeps track of this, but I love testing grounds. I've emailed Riot several times to make sure my application is still valid and in their system, it is. I play League almost every day, and have since season 4.

Do I have a right to be upset? It's super frustrating to want to be a part of something so badly but to have your hands continually slapped away.

Did they explain to you that invites are semi-random? They may target players that fit their needs for testing specific content (like Taric mains for a Taric update), and may avoid players who have received punishments for negative behavior, but otherwise it's random. You might get it the cycle after you sign up, or you may never get it.

It sucks if you've spent a lot and play all the time and are positive but don't get in, but it's not a slight against you, just bad luck. They can only let so many people in each cycle.
