They should have kept with soldiers range the same but his q damage do less at the early stages that you put points into it I have been playing azir since he was on pbe and I have to say azir is suppose to be a lane bully/ hypercarry that can crush turrets now it seems like there is little point to pick him for ranked now since they took the dmg he does to turrets with w they might need to go back and rethink his nerfs because after this patch haven't seen him picked in rank also I heard his win rate is low now due to it I hope they do fix him because damn he was my fav mid to use in solo queue

Being both a hyper carry and a lane bully means you have no weakness, which means said champion is op. I think reverting the sand soldier range nerf would allow azir to be playable again, which in his current state he is not.
