Support VI?

Just a thought I had. Not saying it's some new big LC$ plays pick, but it could be fun for normals or something. Max your E for the Harass in lane and play sorta like a Leona, just less CC. Was thinking of starting Relic, then going the usual support tank route I take (FotM, Build against their carry, Righteous if their mobile, then ZZ to keep a lane pushing while teamfights go on, and finish with a GA to preserve that precious KDA when you suicide engage lmao.)

The major difference is that Leona can ult to start an engage, and then stick by the carries to still peel for them. Vi can't really do that, so you'd still need some strong engage or peel from the rest of the team.

I was under the impression of "Get in there with your Q/Ult, get that resistance debuff off on as many people and hope to god your team follows up".

Play Support Vi with ADC Caitlyn. You will get a bonus gold whenever any of you get a kill.

They have a bonus passive. It's not any large amount of extra gold (I think 1 or 2).

Yes. You will lane in norms against some noobs. But the power of support isnt ''lane'' its when you get out of lane do supports really outshine non support champs.

Think of it like this.

Fizz is on your adc

As vi you can either knock him up or ult him right? Ok now you ccd fizz for 1 second and you are in the fight. As janna you can ult and get out because you knocked him away, you can nado without putting yourself in danger, you can slow him without getting melee distance you can give your adc a shield...

Another example

Your team and the other team are meeting at mid just waiting for something to happen. ( This happens in about 99% of league games )

As Vi, you can Ult the enemy adc, and die 1 second later because you're a support that didnt get a lot of gold As thresh, you can land a hook and go in and prison box

So now lets be honest, Which do you think will save your team AND do more damage to the enemy team

Vi having a knock up that puts her in danger and likewise with her ult knockup?

Or thresh having an AOE prison box 99% slow on each wall and a ranged hook that stuns+ displacement + Minor knockup displacement that can push back or push forward + A lantern that your teammate can click to make them fly to you that gives a minor shield

I see what you're saying but i wouldnt recommend it honestly. It does definitly sound fun and id play it if my friend was the adc
