Hi Summoners, Recently I went on youtube and lots of reddit, and I only see bronze fails or high elo montages. I think it would be great to showcase low elo quality plays at the silver and bronze elo. Many people in these elo do not suck mechanically but rather in their overall game knowledge.

Togekiss241 votesThe reason you don't see them showcased is that they are too "middle-ground." The plays aren't laughably bad enough to make fun of like the Bronze plays, nor are they unbelievably genius like the high elo plays. They are just "standard" at best.
TSA unityinstall3 votesI dont think so. Because bronze elo is what makes plays easier to show. I have seen people pulled off amazing thresh escapes in the jungle. I also have seen flash madlife ezreal prediction hooks. WIth the dark passsage, coming in with the flay and the box. Bronze Elo is not the reason for lackluster plays I believe. Many people stuck in bronze lack the ability to asses the situation, and thus lose many games.
Togekiss241 votesNot a bad point, but that might not be the perception of the people who make these montages or their viewers. Think of it as a bit of "The Coconut Effect." A horse's gallop does NOT produce the same sound that's heard on TV (through the process of banging coconuts on a table), yet it's so embedded in an audience's mind that they wouldn't accept it as "real" in any other way.
... Or maybe I'm thinking too deeply into this. xD

This. When Bronze players make "da plays," it's just them playing the way they're supposed to be playing instead of the catastrophic cluster-fuck that their plays usually are.
TSA unityinstall1 votesYes, I do agree. But you must realize that plays are created when the enemy makes mistakes. If enemy no mistake, then no play. High elo montages are made, but same as low elo they are all making mistakes to make it happen. *Playing like you are suppose to is a implication of no mistake or playing right, while a majority of the plays shown on Protatomonster or other channels, show the enemy making mistakes that lead to a lost of a game. Instead of creating mockery on the bronze community, why can't there be a promotion of bronze content instead. The same can be applied to the real world, where the community college student, is not in every way inferior to the Harvard graduate.
Trazz1 votesPlays are created when players go above and beyond. When players are creative, or clutch, or unorthodox. Not simply competent. It's like riding a bike, you can't do sick jumps off of ramps if your bike has training wheels on it.
TSA unityinstall1 votesWe are playing the same game. Bronze Elo by all means is no modification like a bike. You have the same base stats as all high elo players. League is not a rpg game, where experience and levels gate you from your potential.
Trazz1 votesExcept yeah, experience and levels do gate you pretty hard... MOBAs are basically one-shot RPGs. It is still possible to make plays at a deficit, but if Bronze players knew how to play from behind, they wouldn't be Bronze. Their training wheels are mental.
TSA unityinstall1 votesWhat if bronze people can play really well, but that they have issue's gating them from doing everything possible. I have friends in China who are in gold, but are stuck in bronze in NA, because of internet and computer lag. I was a expat living in Asia playing league, and I had lag issues as well. That did not stopped me from making plays.

TSA unityinstall1 votesBronze people are bad in the game overall. I just wish the community not make fun on them always mechanically. A good example of this would be my friend who is in Bronze right now. His name is 10202. He has really good KDA's and tends to carry many games.
