Busting out the Mordekaiser

To me, Mordekaiser is in the same class as Rumble. Possibly Vladimir too. He's a tanky AP bruiser that doesn't have traditional mana resources. But with his kit relatively unchanged for a while, I'm sorta wondering about certain QoL updates to hit other people and whether or not they affect him too. Riot is increasing a lot of on-hit spells to increase their attack range right? Does his mace of spades also do that? Also, with the abolition of DFG. Is he getting any sort of planned buffs to compensate for that?

They should remove Siphon of Destruction. If they want him to be a tanky Bruiser, they should remove the burst skill.

My suggested replacement - Malice and Chains. Mordekaiser shoots a chain from his gauntlet that hooks onto the enemy champion it (Thin, fast moving skillshot). The target takes a little damage and is hooked to Mordekaiser, unable to leave a certain area around him. They're also slowed, and take increased damage from all DoT effects (Morde's ult and Creeping Death, as well as Liandry's and any dots his team uses).

If they try to dash or blink out of range, the chain is broken but the recoil briefly stuns them.

Hence the joke "compensation buffed" in his post. He was using it as a joke, like everybody now after that unfortunate patch.

He is waiting for a rework to bring him exactly in that role. But we got no news since the last attempt (3 PBE cicles ago) which caused a huge hate in the community because all they did was nerfing his damage and shield generation forcing him to build HP without any real gain.

Since then there has been no update nor words from Riot and that is really hurting me since I fear we'll have to live with a half-reworked Mordekaiser ,till Poppy, Taric, Ashe and WW get reworked.
