The reason I ban Miss Fortune every game

Total damage of nearly 6,000 Health. A stationary area denial move that, when used right, completely decimates anything unlucky enough to stand in it. Unavoidable in the jungle without some level of dash or blink. Insane damage. This is hands down the strongest single cast on a spell in the game, nothing is even close to the damage of this disgusting spell. But wait! there's more! It can even critically strike, for a 20% damage boost, further skewing these numbers and basically deleting anything on call.

This isn't even taking into account this same champion can Q -> auto for about 2k, as well. It's actually disgusting.

An ult that you can:

CC/catch her off.
walk out of it.
blink/dash out of it.

It's just as mediocre as Illaoi's ult.

This damage gets mitigated by Armor, you know.

I mean if you stand in it, yea that's going to hurt.

It can be disrupted, easy to walk away from, have to factor in resistances as its only telling you the base damage, and it forces MF to be still and easy to jump on. If that ult only did a portion of that damage (at rank 3) she'd probably never use it in high elo.

MF's scariest problem is her Q bounce if anything.

I started to play a mf a bit past week in order to understand how to deal with that champ. I found out that :

Her kit is kinda limited to burst if ult is down. Her sustain damage is pretty poor which makes her kinda boom or rip.
She does struggle to clear waves so she can easily get pushed in early while having serious issues in order to create tempo in the midgame. This means that when an mf has to farm minions sidelanes, she'll either run out of mana (to clear faster) or will take forever to clear thoses minions creating big windows for the opponent to fight 5vs4.
She's definitely teamfights oriented as I realized that dropping a nice R wins games on its own. If E is applied on critical targets, they've no way out unless they can flash out.
I'm expecting the dark harvest changes to really pet her down the charts.

Physical damage doesnt mean she will deal exactly 5.5k damage. Since u can build armor to reduce all the incoming damage.

Buy armor, use shields, or heal. It doesn't do 6,000 true damage, it's physical damage that's reduced.

So... move? Dash or blink out of it. If you don't have mobility, stop it by stopping the channel. Kassadin Ashe Garen Fiddlesticks Poppy Pyke Sejuani Volibear Urgot Lissandra = all random champions I chose that can easily block her ult.

The damage is reduced. It is not waves of thousands and thousands of true damage. There are tons of other strong ults in the game, damage isn't everything. Pyke Malphite Karthus Azir Bard all have amazing ults that rival MissFortune 's.

See above. The crit strike bonus was to bump her back up into popularity after some nerfs a long time ago.

Miss Fortune's Q will almost never and I mean never do more than 1,000+ damage. Generally the damage is anywhere from 200-1,000 depending on build, your armor, and her level. If this was hyperbole which I seriously doubt, her Q isn't even that good when compared to other marksmen's Q's.
