You first accept that he is a shadow of his former self, and focus on vision control with your team. You HAVE to land effective ults to do anything significant. The biggest factor in that is denying vision to your enemies.

W is no longer the tool it used to be. Don't think you can trade effectively with most champs because of it.

as a laner: throw birds to harass enemy behind their minion wave, then use drain to heal damage. if enemy doesn't have and displacements, stuns, silences or fears, chances are if they try to fight you while you drain, they will die unless they have INSANE amounts of burst. Both fear and silence prevent them from using summoner spells so they're both great when your jungler goes to gank. Recommending crystal scepter early for more crowd control as you REALLY want to make them feel uncomfortable being near you and you, as fiddle, want to keep them in your range a long as possible.

as a jungler, drain is almost literally auto-sustain for you. only thing to watch out for is early invades as you need your drain up to live at least until you get fear at lvl 3 to cc them off of you. You definitely want oracles on fid as you want to be unseen for your ult to deliver maximum butthurts and optimum sodium to tear ratios with his ult.

good items on fid are: CC yo you're going to be in their face anyway. not even optional. more butthurts
