Even if it cost 0 mana I still wouldn't spam it unless the trade required me to do so, simply because using q on darius shoves lane extremely hard, which is basically a death sentence for darius without vision of the enemy jungler

because he is a braindead champion

before they nerfed his Q mana cost was 30 at all ranks,early seems manaless but trust me after lv9 it isnt

Actually spamming his Q does hurt his mana supply a lot.

Also, because Darius is about getting five stacks, he usually wants to use his full combo to maximize damage and prolong the fight as long as possible. Darius actually can and does run into mana problems if his opponent is slippery enough to disengage when he tries to burn his combo on them.

But it costs 30-50 mana.

His Q hurts like a mofo mana wise you just cant see it
