People keep saying Akali is OP when they seem easily countered by Garen.
Garen is tanky.
If they shroud just spin and they have no choice but to take it or leave.
If they leave you can chase them with your silence. You could also silence them before they shroud and spin after, but it might be wiser to just save it in case your get ganked or for the last bit of damage.

akali can just spam q, and make use of her shround to cs and escape and stay away from him.
garen also cant kill akali if he cant straight up 1 combo her. because she just has to hit a minion to heal 1/3 of her health back up. its basically not worth trading with her.

Otherwise, even match up? Garen wins. Build 1 MR item, and she's done. (She doesn't build void staff first usually, and rushes Gunblade).
