Autofill is a problem
Riot takes action to punish people who create a negative experience for other people in their games. This can range from being toxic, to intentionally feeding. So it's clear that riot doesn't want people ruining each others games right? Then why doesn't riot take care of the thing that creates the most trolls in all of my games, autofill. I can't tell you how often my games, in ranked and in norms, are ruined because of someone who doesn't want to take the game seriously since they were autofilled anyway. I understand that its there to cut back on queue times, however, most that I have talked to agree they would prefer to have longer queue times and not have to worry about themselves or anyone else getting autofilled. Anyone who doesn't have the patience to wait a few extra minutes (while probably shouldn't be playing this game with that little patience) has the option of selecting a less favorable roll to shorten their own wait time. It isn't fair to those who mind waiting for a game in their desired position, but end up getting placed in a position they can't play well instead. Also, the autofill system also causes a lot of people to dodge queue. This also causes queue times to be much longer, ruining the original purpose of the system. I suggest that riot does a vote for all players of league of legends. For about a week, anyone who logs into the client can vote on whether or not they think the autofill system should be removed. Removing autofill would increase queue times, however, I feel it is worth it to increase the quality of gameplay by cutting back on the amount of people who troll as a result of autofill, or simply don't enjoy their experience.
