My first and only serious thread about balance. (Riot, please read this.)

I… can't defend Riot this time. I just can't.

Let's start with Veigar. Riot told the players that they were going to COMPENSATE Veigar for the removal of DFG. I didn't even question that logic, since DFG was a staple item on him. They also said they were going to similarly compensate other champs that relied on DFG. Again, that makes sense. Removing the item was essentially a nerf to those champions, so just give them something to fill the void. With the changes, the ONLY thing that has improved for Veigar is his Q. Anyone that thinks this is a nerf will change their tone (if anyone even plays him anymore). Lowering the cost of his W is irrelevant, considering how ANY Veigar player uses it. His E is now VERY bad (even though the particles look cool, that isn't worth gutting the ability), and his ult got a flat nerf. Riot, don't do this. The only thing better about him is his Q, but by nerfing his E and R you're making that buff useless. Veigar NEEDS his stun to be reliable, otherwise he's a free kill for ANY mobile champion in the game. Revert the stun changes. The changes to his ult aren't nearly as crippling, and are just a punch to the face of any Veigar players that exist.

Mordekaiser. His play style will definitely be different, but at this point I can't tell if it's better or worse. All I will say is that he won't feel the same, which is disappointing.

Smite nerfs. NO. STOP MAKING THE JUNGLE HARDER FOR EVERYONE THAT ISN'T JARVAN OR LEE SIN. STOP IT. JUST FING NERF THEM INSTEAD FOR FS SAKE. THIS IS NOT JUNGLE DIVERSITY, THIS IS JUNGLE DICTATORSHIP. THIS NERF WILL CHANGE NOTHING FOR THE BETTER.

I know a lot of that may very well come of as angry, but it really should. Short of the Mord changes (which for all I can tell could still be bad), the others are just insulting and the EXACT OPPOSITE of what Riot told us they were doing.

TL;DR, Nerfing Smite only hurts jungle diversity, and putting a delay on Veigars stun hurts him more than any buff could compensate.
