that lag during your series

Is it always riot server or my server cos ik i am not the only one who usually lags during promotion series. Also its hard as sh#t to climb the ladder at the moment. you lose more points if you lose your game but gain few points if you win the game, am always discouraged to play ranked and normal games is so toxic i can't even describe it. Any help or ideas will be greatly welcomed :)
