@Riot: Is Zilean receiving buffs anytime soon?

He got nerfed because of Season 4 Worlds, I understand. But he's been super-weak now for the entirety of season 5 in because of preference for tankier supports.

Please consider making this champion viable again. His Q-stun is too unreliable, the bombs move too slow, and his other CC (from is E) is too low-ranged and not hard-CC. His Ultimate is awesome, but PLEASE! Look into moving his W to his Passive and get rid of that lame EXP thing. It's time for Zilean to rise again!

Meddler did responded that Zilean would most likely have some tweaks in his kit, one namely increasing the animation of his Q. Will most likely hit it on 5.21 or 22.

New zil passive

Time paradox-zilean receives this buff every 30/25/20/15 seconds (cd changes with ult lvl) (edit: this results in 9 second CD with 40% CDR, then 3 spell casts puts it down to 3 second CD with the time paradox spell working toward this as well so if used right you can have 2 time paradox spells late game in quick succession with this and casting R as well), casting a spell reduces this CD by 2 seconds and is effected by CDR Time paradox causes zileans next basic ability to be useable regardless of CD (think of how rengar a ferocity works but they light up when The ability is on CD)

This passive works just like rewind currently does while still enforcing CDR for more benefit on the passive, the passive has no effect on non paradox spells CDs

W-time loop (targeted spell like old time bomb) edit:28/26/24/22/20 sec CD (12 sec at 40% CDR) Ally effect - remove all current crowd control effects on the target and restores 60/70/80/90/100 + 13/16/19/22/25% (+3% per 100 AP) their missing hp Enemy effect - roots the target for 1.5 seconds and deals damage to them for 60/80/100/120/140 +1.0 AP (single target damage) over the duration of the root (edit: if root duration is reduced the damage goes faster but if root is removed by a cleanse effect so is the damage)

This fixes 2 issues for zilean, it allows damage to be moved into his W so it's not all focused on Q and it allows him a combo to help land his double bomb

Q ap ratio nerfed to .6 because W now has damage

Zilean also has the choice to do more aoe damage and stun or more single target and root a priority target

Early levels zilean Q will do more damage due to base damage values, late game zilean W W should be about 30-40% stronger in single target damage without but zilean can lose damage on W if he casts them back to back due to it being a dot over the duration of the root
